Welcome to the Studio

Nestled in a quaint community in Moonstone, Ontario, surrounded by woods, sits the chalet we call home.

Upon entering the front door, a feeling of warmth and comfort greets you with the lightly coloured walls, beautiful artwork, a solid brick fireplace, and the airy cathedral ceiling.

Step by step you ascend the staircase and enter my loft studio. Each step is a step away from the daily grind filled with responsibilities and to-do lists and a step towards my dreams and inspirations. Not only are those stairs great for the glutes, but they are also great for a change in mindset.

A small space (measuring just over 11 x 7 feet) filled with dreams, beauty, and function. We have three main workstations, one storage closet, and a whole lot of beauty.

The office desk is where all the business takes place: blog and content writing, website updating, invoicing, image editing, and customer communication center. Tea and logic are required here.

The drafting table is where the magic happens. It is like entering a meditation studio for me; A deep inhale followed by a calming exhale as I sit, music is on, art tools are selected and arranged, and the beauty of creating begins.

The supply cabinet is stocked with deliciousness. Art supplies, tools, pastel paper, and finished artwork are lovingly stored. On top is the professional fine art printer, where each art print is made, cut, and packaged from my hands to yours.

Life has come a long way since the days of working on my couch with a pillow in my lap, and I couldn't be more grateful. It was a slow process to get here, but that only makes me love it all the more.

Welcome to my art studio, and thank you for coming.

Crystal, you are an amazing person and I thank you for still including me in your circle. It was a year ago today that Shaka went to the Rainbow Bridge and we still mourn her loss. Good thoughts and hugs to you. Your daughter is adorable and your family is a treat to see. Lynda Kelly.

Hello Lynda,

Oh I miss our chats!

Losing a pet is such a deeply personal experience. It is not to be rushed as our hearts all heal in their own time. Our family isn't ready for another pet yet after the loss of Tater tot, but I know the time will come when the joy that is felt seeing our daughter playing with her own "best friend" will outweigh the ache of loss of mine. Big hugs all around
